This beautiful stretch of coastline is on the NH 66 along the West Coast parallel to the Western Ghats comprising a distance of approximately 970 km.
NH-66 mainly traverses through the West Coast of India & occasionally touching the shores of the Arabian Sea at Karwar & Maravanthe in Karnataka, Thalassery, Alappuzha & Kollam in Kerala.
The NHAI proposes to construct tunnels in the stretches where the road passes through the forest or ghat section… All these are likely to enhance the driving pleasure.
Apart from the scenic beauty, one also gets to drive through beautiful places like Karwar, Udupi, Mangaluru, Kasaragod, Bekal Fort, Kannur, Kochi to name a few.
